Our Constitution
The Panamorphix Constitution
The beliefs, boundaries and promises that govern who we are and what we will never become.

Version 2.2 updates our company positioning to name both practices and aligns the visible version and publication dates. The Constitution's substantive principles and boundaries are unchanged.
Our Position
Panamorphix is a closed context infrastructure company focused on health and care. We build our own foundation, then use it to create and power focused companies around problems we believe are worth solving. We are not a consultancy, an outsourced research arm, a white-label technology vendor or a data broker.
Our independence is deliberate. It allows us to choose what we build, how we build it and which opportunities we refuse. No client, investor, partner or market trend has the right to move the lines in this Constitution.
Technology should deepen human understanding and capability without turning people into raw material.
No State Power
Governments, military and intelligence agencies
We do not work for, contract with, sell to or build on behalf of governments, government departments, armed forces, intelligence agencies, secret services or covert surveillance bodies.
We do not build weapons, targeting systems, predictive policing, border surveillance, population monitoring, political influence systems or tools designed for coercion and control.
We will not enter this work indirectly through a prime contractor, reseller, partner, investor, acquired company or intermediary. A hidden route to prohibited work is still prohibited work.
We will not build systems that increase the power of the state over the individual.
Data Is Not a Commodity
We do not sell, rent, license, trade, exchange or share personal or organisational data. We do not build advertising profiles, sell access to audiences or turn private activity into a commercial asset.
Data provided to one Panamorphix company stays within that company and the purpose for which it was provided. We do not pool data between our companies. We do not use one company's data to advantage another. Shared context infrastructure does not mean shared data.
We collect the minimum information a service genuinely needs. We retain it only for as long as that purpose requires. People and organisations should be able to understand what is held, correct it, export it and ask for it to be deleted.
No future business model, acquisition, investment or change of leadership may quietly reverse this promise.
Data belongs with the person or organisation it describes. It is never inventory for Panamorphix.
No Surveillance Economy
We do not build for covert monitoring, mass profiling, social scoring, behavioural targeting or the tracking of people without their informed participation.
We do not use fear, dependency, addiction, dark patterns or hidden persuasion to keep people engaged. Technology should earn its place in someone's life through usefulness, not psychological capture.
Context can make technology more relevant. It must never become a pretext for manipulation.
Human Agency Comes First
Technology should extend human judgement, memory and capability. It should not quietly replace a person's right to understand, choose, challenge or stop what is happening.
- People should know when automated systems materially shape an experience or outcome.
- People should be able to correct important information about themselves.
- Consequential decisions should remain open to human review and challenge.
- No system should decide a person's worth, rights or access to essential opportunities.
- Vulnerability must never be treated as a commercial advantage.
The system serves the person. The person does not serve the system.
Closed by Design
Our infrastructure exists to support the companies Panamorphix creates. It is not a public platform, an open marketplace or a tool through which outside institutions can redirect our purpose.
We do not build technology to order for external organisations. We do not give customers, partners or investors control of our underlying infrastructure. We do not allow commercial access to turn Panamorphix into a service arm for someone else's agenda.
Each company we create has its own purpose, operating boundary and data boundary. Shared context infrastructure exists to create continuity and capability, not to collapse distinct companies or their users into one system.
Truth, Uncertainty and Correction
We distinguish between what is known, what is inferred and what is not yet known. Confidence is not certainty. Prediction is not fact. A fluent answer is not necessarily a truthful one.
Where our systems form a view, they should preserve enough context to explain where it came from. Important claims should have a source. Important changes should leave a record. Mistakes should be correctable without pretending they never happened.
We will not exaggerate capability, hide uncertainty or use the language of artificial intelligence to make ordinary automation look profound.
What We Choose to Build
We build for health, care and wellbeing. We favour work that increases dignity, autonomy, continuity, access and human capability. We are drawn to problems where better context can reduce confusion, fragmentation, delay and waste.
We do not believe every technically possible system should exist. We will leave ideas unbuilt when their likely effect is exploitation, exclusion, dependency, deception or concentrated power.
Novelty is not enough. Growth is not enough. A company must create value without requiring Panamorphix to become something this Constitution forbids.
Responsibility Cannot Be Automated
Panamorphix remains responsible for the systems and companies it creates. We will not blame a model, an algorithm, a supplier or a user for a choice that was ours to make.
Security, privacy and accessibility belong at the beginning of the work. They are not finishing tasks. Anyone working inside Panamorphix must be able to raise a concern, stop work and ask for a decision to be reconsidered when it conflicts with this Constitution.
When we make a material mistake, our obligation is to understand it, correct it and change the conditions that allowed it.
Independence Over Growth
Revenue, investment, valuation, speed and market access do not take precedence over our principles. We would rather remain smaller than accept work, capital or influence that weakens our independence.
We do not accept hidden control. Commercial agreements must not create secret influence over what Panamorphix builds, who it serves or what it refuses.
The ability to say no is part of the company we are building.
Public Accountability
This Constitution is public because our boundaries should be visible before anyone chooses to use, support, fund or work with a Panamorphix company.
- It applies to Panamorphix and every company Panamorphix controls.
- New companies and material new capabilities must be reviewed against it.
- Work that conflicts with it must be rejected or stopped.
- Changes must be dated, versioned and accompanied by a plain-language explanation.
- Core refusals cannot be removed quietly or weakened through another policy.
If our behaviour and this document diverge, the document is not a shield. The divergence is the problem, and it must be corrected.
Our Pledge
Panamorphix will remain closed by design, independent in judgement and limited by choice. We will build our own companies on our own infrastructure. We will not build systems of state power. We will not turn private data into a market. We will not use context to manipulate the people it should serve.
We build to increase human capability, never to reduce human freedom.
